As the body of knowledge in all content areas increases at an exponential rate, it has become increasingly important to help students become careful curators of knowledge. Curation implies not only a proficiency in content, but rather the ability to connect that content in novel ways. By creating inquiry classrooms, educators can foster these skills and engage students in the problem solving process. While inquiry has long focused on STEM, inquiry classrooms transcend subject areas and are inherently interdisciplinary in nature. This course was created to help educators better understand how to design for inquiry, why it is of value, and how it can be incorporated into all subject areas to support students' development of 21st century skills.
